Spaghetti Feed for PNES Awareness
Alita Smith is a 14 year old girl who attends Gerald Otte Middle School in Blair. Her active life was interrupted during spring break when her body began to do unexpected things, progressing into seizures. On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, she was diagnosed with PNES (psychogenic non-epileptic seizures). Most likely ignited by several stress factors in her life.
Join the community on April 24th from 5pm to 8pm for a spaghetti fundraiser to raise money for Alita to help defray mounting medical expenses and promote awareness for PNES (psychogenic non-epileptic seizures). A meal may be purchased (Adults $10 and Kids $5) with an option to dine in or carry out. In addition to the meal there will be a silent auction, and live music featuring Lisa Larsen from the High Heel Band from Omaha and Tammy and Derek Christiansen from Blair. Come to support this local family.
