Events
The church is not a building. The church is people - Jesus followers who are on mission to the world. Jesus gave us the command to love one another. Paul wrote, "The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love...serve one another humbly in love." - Galatians 5:6, 14. These are some of the community events that our church sponsors.
Gateway to the West Parade Float
Christ Lutheran Church will be entering the parade for the third consecutive year! The theme this year is a Beach Party. We will be having a Float assembly party on Friday, June 7th at 6pm. A potluck will be held by the Fellowship Team, and we ask you to bring your favorite sides. Smoked Pork will be served. Volunteers are needed to assist with all aspects of this event up to and including parade walkers. The parade is on Saturday, June 8th at 1pm. We will gather at 12pm. Please wear sunscreen and cool clothing - it’s a great time to wear your Christ Lutheran T-shirts! Feel free to email me at jackie@christlutheranblair.org with any questions.
Meal & a Movie June 2nd - Join Us!
Come out for a Meal and a Movie on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at our church. The Benevolence Committee is hosting the event. Bring a dish to share with others. Invite a friend!
Vacation Bible School
We would love all children K-5th grade to join us for Vacation Bible School. This year it will be held July 8th through July 11th 5pm to 8pm. Please text Katie Nienow at 402-639-7389 or email her at katie@christlutheranblair.org to let her know your children will be attending.
