A Time of Daily Prayer

for the Pastoral Call

Christ Lutheran Church has been called to find the next candidate who will become “pastor” to this church. As steps are being taken to begin that process, the church is charged with “praying with all earnestness” for this new person who will become our pastor. As a result, this document is a guide to help all of us become part of this most important process by praying each day for one aspect of finding a new minister. Please use this as your prayer guide for the rest of the month of February. You are given each day and date for the individual prayers. Read the prayer and scripture and meditate on the scripture verse. God will do great things if we will seek Him with all of our hearts.

February Prayer Guide

We are a praying church!

Jesus once told His followers a story "to show them that they should always pray and not give up." - Luke 18:1. Paul taught, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7.

  • Prayer Request

We believe in the power of prayer. We are all in this together, so we pray with each other and for each other. How would you like us to pray for you?

You can submit your request at the bottom of this page.

  • Prayer After Worship

If you have something weighing on your heart or something for which you want to give thanks, some of our prayer warriors will be available after worship to pray with you. Just go up to the front of the church for personal, private prayer. Don’t be afraid. We all need prayer.

  • Community Prayer

Community Prayer Network meets at 7 p.m. every month at Blair Healing Rooms. Their next gathering will be on Monday, March 02. You are invited and encouraged to attend

  • House of Prayer

Join us Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. for House of Prayer as we gather as a group to pray for pressing needs of the church, community, families, country, and God's Kingdom. Speak a prayer, or just sit and listen, all are welcome.

  • Pray & Go!

Our Church does Pray & Go throughout the community. Pray & Go is where we walk the neighborhood and pray over the homes. We also hang doorknob hangers that give a little bit of information about our church.
